Seizure of Assets
We are experts at locating and seizing all assets of the receivership
estate, including taking possession of, and accounting for all bank
accounts, cash banks, petty cash, and all other moneys and securities as
well as auditing accounts receivable and accounts payable. Our team
quickly takes control of not only the principal asset, but also vital
legal rights like liquor licenses, franchise agreements, and equipment
leases that are critical to the overall value of the asset.
Reports & Filing
Because we have an in-house legal team, we are typically able to handle
legal work required by the receivership estate. This saves time and money,
as the receiver does not need to hire an outside attorney. In addition, we
perform the following services:

Assist
lender’s legal counsel in preparing Order Appointing Receiver to assure
that all contingencies are addressed by the court in the first hearing
to avoid repeated trips to court.

Prepare and
file all receiver’s documents, serving all appropriate parties.

Upon
foreclosure, quickly wind up the receivership estate, including
preparing the final accounting and report, transferring licenses and
franchises, and securing the court’s approval and discharge.
