Patrick F. McMillin is co-founder, principle and Executive Vice President of McMillin Ventures, Inc, a multi-talented real estate, property management, construction and investment firm located in Southern California. He brings over 35 years of experience in the industry providing both executive level management and a street-smart mentality for getting results. He brings actual “hands-on” experience and of providing corporate leadership within firms that provide real estate sales & marketing, mortgage, escrow and property management. He worked directly with Corky McMillin for over 25 years, who built one of the largest real estate and development firms in Southern California. He has personally managed portfolios in excess of $200 million dollars. As an Executive Vice President for McMillin Realty & Mortgage Company, Inc, Pat was responsible for its multi-regional operations located in California and Texas. During his leadership, McMillin Realty & Mortgage Company achieved goals never before attained and was recognized as one of the “Top 100” real estate firms in the United States. In this era, the firm accomplished over 6,000 annual closings valued at over $1.8 billion. While serving in this same role, he provided the leadership for the mortgage division, which funded and closed over 2,600 Mortgages annually valued at over $500 million dollars. Eventually he was called upon to develop and lead a new escrow operation, of which McMillin Escrow emerged as a multi-regional firm, which quickly rose to prominence by closing over 2,000 transactions annually. He received many awards and accolades for his service and achievements. During his multi-tasked career, he was fortunate to have been assigned troubled assets, both tangible and intangible, for resolution. This was at times when resolution was mandatory to survive. He was successful as a project trouble-shooter in the development and real estate industry. He continues to be called on to negotiate and conclude difficult and complex transactions successfully. He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, holding the credential of Certified Property Manager (CPM). As a member of the Real Estate Brokerage Council, he holds the credential of Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB). He holds a Professional Certificate in Business Administration from the University of California-San Diego. He has served as a speaker, and on many expert panels, including Commercial Leasing, Negotiating in a Troubled Market, Market Observations and Strategies to Survive.
