Major Program on Selling Real Property From a Receivership Estate.

More than 80 persons attended November 11th’s major 90-minute luncheon-format education seminar on “Receiver’s Sale of Real Property through the Court System,” hosted by Buchalter Nemer at its downtown Los Angeles offices.

Moderator Gary Plotkin, Esq. (Plotkin, Rapoport & Nahmias) was joined by Richard Weissman, Esq. (Saltzberg, Ray & Weissman) and Phil Seymour (The Seymour Group / Elite Properties Realty) in discussing the sale process from start to finish, including sale mechanics, the sale contract, how to draft the selling motion and deal with escrow and how to present the results to the court in the Receiver’s FAR.

Receivers, counsel, real property brokers and managers and accounting professionals were among the attendees. Extensive written materials – including many sample forms and pleadings germane to such sales, were provided on an extended CD to all present.
