By RN Staff*

NAFER, the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers, was formed in 2010 to serve as a forum for federal equity receivers to share solutions, develop best practices, and improve quality, standardization, and expertise in the receivership field. The founding members and directors guided the Association through its development of purpose, structure, and operation. Robert Wing, attorney and partner of Prince, Yeates & Geldzahler, Salt Lake City, developed support and momentum for his concept of NAFER and served as the initial President. NAFER is self-sustaining, currently with 53 members, and maintains an active website with articles and comments contributed by receivers and attorneys, which can be found at www.naferforum.org.
