Bay Area CRF Charity Event- Organizes 2700 # of Food for San Francisco-Marin Food Bank

By Lauter, Mick*

San Francisco, CA – The Bay Area CRF chapter turned out in force for the chapter’s annual charity event at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Dazzling the doe-eyed tech workers on either side of the mighty receivership fighting force, our chapter members worked seamlessly together to bag and organize an earth-shattering 2,700 pounds of food for the Bay Area’s needy. Said one chapter member, elegantly summing up the events, “it will be quite a while before I eat frozen corn again.” Afterward, fulfilling the duties of a time-honored tradition, the members gathered for dinner and discussed the finer points of life, love, and receivership orders.
