Q: I heard that the Rules of Court changed at the beginning of the year. Does this have any effect on me as a receiver?

A: Not really. What the Judicial Council did was renumber all the rules. Substantively the rules relating to receiverships did not change. The court rules concerning receiverships are now numbered 3.1175-3.1184.
