Richardson Griswold, Esq. | Griswold Receivers | CEO
Richardson “Red” Griswold is the President of Griswold Receivers and acts as a court-appointed Receiver and court-appointed Partition Referee. He has been appointed by over 300 courts in 30 different counties across the Western region in matters related to health & safety, rents & profits, post-judgment, and partition matters. In addition, Mr. Griswold provides legal counsel and representation for receivers and partition referees and acts as an expert witness in the areas of habitability standards and real estate management practices.

Mr. Griswold was the 2019 Chair/President of the California Receivers Forum and served on its Board of Directors for several years. He also served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego chapter (San Diego Receivers Forum). He is a member of the California State Bar and licensed to practice law in all California state courts, as well as the United States District Courts in the Southern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California. Mr. Griswold earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis and his law degree, magna cum laude, from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Mr. Griswold is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker. He currently co-owns a property management company in San Diego (Red House Property Management).

Gerard Keena | Bay Area Receivers Group | President
Gerard F. Keena is the Founder and President of Bay Area Receivership Group, operating throughout California and providing next level strategy and solutions in financial and business matters. He is an experienced professional with over 19 years of asset management experience with specialties in property management and business transactions. Consulting services have been completed on a wide variety of asset types. This includes the day‐to‐day oversight of large residential, commercial and industrial real estate portfolios originated from major financial institutions, private equity and hedge fund clients. Gerard has been responsible for numerous types of real property management, including office buildings, unfinished apartment and condominium complexes as well as industrial facilities. Additionally, Gerard has sold numerous types of real property ranging from single family homes to multi‐million dollar commercial properties. Gerard is experienced in real estate and business evaluations, negotiations as well as financial and market analysis.

Amanda Pope, Esq. | Jones Mayer Law | Director of City Receiverships
As Senior Counsel and the Director of City Receiverships at the law firm of Jones Mayer, Amanda Pope manages all agency-initiated receivership litigation for city and county clients throughout California seeking to abate substandard and dangerous properties. Ms. Pope and her team guide code enforcement departments through each step of the specialized receivership process before and during the litigation. Ms. Pope has over a decade of receivership experience and she and her team at Jones Mayer work diligently to ensure an efficient result for the public agency.

Ms. Pope has dedicated her legal career to representing public entities. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Riverside and in private practice, she represented cities and counties throughout California. Ms. Pope has taught several classes on receiverships and various subjects pertaining to the legal aspects of code enforcement throughout California.
